Golden Key Diamonds is proud of a family tradition in the international diamond industry dating back to 1934  when the Pioneers of our family began business in Antwerpen, Belgium.  Prior to the outset of the Second World War, it was necessary to leave Belgium and the destination chosen was none other than South Africa - at the time - the diamond mining centre of the world.

Golden Key Diamonds is a full member of the South African Diamond Bourse with an impeccable international reputation.

Over the years,  the business expanded into different sectors such as mining, dealing in rough, manufacturing and also wholesale.  Our network of operations have covered South Africa, England and Israel.

More recently, Golden Key Diamonds has also moved into the two specialist fields of Fancy Colored Diamonds and HPHT Diamonds.   Our selection of these two areas was due to the demand of our existing Clients who needed a reliable, honest and dependable supplier to work with them as these market sectors developed and are now, indeed, important category within the industry today.  Due to the difference in focus of these two markets, we have establsihed these two separate divisions in which to operate carefully and with great planning and forethought.

Golden Key has, over the decades, and always will, in the future, be run as a family concern.  We operate with a strict set of values and respect for both suppliers and clients. Actions are far more powerful than words. Everyone has heard the phrase “The Client is King” or “We Put the Client First”.  At Golden Key, we don’t just say it, we live it.  And this very principle is what drives, motivates and directs us day to day in our business. 

Our marketing strategy is “Specialized Directional Marketing”. We developed this principle with the experience and understanding that in our market, every Client has their specific market-requirements so that Client A does not specifically need the same products as does Client B. Whilst we keep a basic stock of goods, our different Clients give us individual indications as to their market needs, i.e. matching pairs for earrings, special stones for rings or bracelets, etc. etc.  Through our close contact with our Clients, we have successfully built this concept of Specialized Directional Marketing.
